Our Objective:

Upon completion of the course our goal is for you to:

• Assist the pharmacist in the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy.
• Understand the basic process of filling a prescription.
• Be familiar with and work confidently in a retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy environment.
• Understand basic pharmacology and be familiar with popular classes of drugs.
• Be able to calculate medication doses and do basic pharmacy math.
• Understand basic anatomy and physiology.
• Be prepared for the PTCB examination.
• Be able to get a job in pharmacy.
